What are Georgie Paws dog toys made from?
Veg-tanned buffalo leather and suede, sustainable coconut fibre, natural jute, recycled felted wool, cotton rope, and brass hardware — the exact mix depends on the product, and each product page lists its specific materials. No plastic is used anywhere in a Georgie Paws product.
Are Georgie Paws products really plastic-free?
Yes. No Plastic. No Landfill. No Nasties. is at the centre of how every Georgie Paws toy, collar and lead is designed — from the materials themselves through to the hardware, packing tape, stickers and mailers.
Are Georgie Paws toys compostable?
We use natural materials, such as coconut fibre and jute, that are compostable. Leather items break down naturally over time but aren't intended for home composting.

Where are Georgie Paws products designed and made?
Every Georgie Paws product is designed in South Australia and handmade in India or Pakistan by highly skilled craftspeople in fairtrade conditions that are regularly inspected for safety, quality control, happiness and wellbeing.
Is it safe to leave my dog alone with a Georgie Paws toy?
Georgie Paws Dog Toys are designed to enhance playtime and interaction between humans and their dogs. So it is expected that you will be with your pooch, having loads of fun when they are with their toys.
Our dog toys are NOT a "set and forget" toy to leave your dog alone with.
Remove any damaged parts of the toy and compost them. Do not allow your dog to eat any part of the toy.
How do I care for my leather Georgie Paws lead or collar?
Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth, and avoid soaking your leather in water or using soaps. We use waxed buffalo bridle leather in our collars and leads. Let it air dry naturally, away from direct heat, and condition it occasionally with a natural leather balm to keep it supple.
